For paragliders – and for those who want to learn it – is this point of the “Renchtal” an Eldorado. Due to the ideal thermik, each and every year during whitsun the “BAWÜ Airgames” will take place in Oppenau.
A very special sport event – every year, thousands of visitors come to Oppenau to see it.
You wish to see our landscape from high above? For all guests who whish to go up in the air, Oppenau offers together with several pilots and the paragliders of Oppenau a paragliding event for two men with one paraglider.
You are in search of a present? In tourist offices in Oppenau, you can buy vouchers for this.

Furthermore, there are, close to us, different schools for flying; they offer different courses and even a security and technical training – even anything what is related to paragliding.
